Due to licensing agreements resources and apps listed on the Library’s mobile website may require logging in using your UMDNJ remote access account and/or additional registration with the provider for use. Licensed resources can only be accessed by UMDNJ and affiliated users. UMDNJ students and staff should use their CORE/Portal username and password for remote access and affiliated users should use their last name and the last 4 digits of their Library barcode. Note that any additional registration with a provider of licensed resources and apps, in most cases, must be done from a UMDNJ networked computer before the site can be accessed on a mobile device. Check the Mobile Resources web page on the Library’s main website for more information about registration, or if a resource requires an app be installed. Consult the individual resource's website for compatibility with your mobile device.

The Stratford campus offers wireless access to the University network. Wireless service may be used by all faculty, staff and students and is available in the Academic Center, University Educational Center, Science Center and University Doctors' Pavilion. In order to access the “UMDNJ Wireless Network” on a a mobile device, you must be registered with Information Services & Technology Department (IST). To register go to http://istreg.CORE.umdnj.edu. Once your registration has been processed, an e-mail will be sent to you with pertinent wireless account information and instructions on how to access the UMDNJ Wireless Network. You then need to activate your wireless account by login to http://my.umdnj.edu to reset your core password. The new password will be synchronized to your wireless account.
You can verify your account at https://accessumd.umdnj.edu. For wireless support, please contact the IST Service Center at 732-743-3200 or 3x3200, email at isthelp@umdnj.edu. Note that IST Services web pages are not compatible with mobile devices and better viewed using desktop or laptop computers.

-The 9 Archives journals were officially renamed: JAMA Dermatology, JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery, JAMA Internal Medicine, JAMA Neurology, JAMA Ophthalmology, JAMA Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, JAMA Pediatrics, JAMA Psychiatry, and JAMA Surgery. These journals, part of the new JAMA Network, coincide with the first major redesign of these journals in more than 20 years. The JAMA Network is a new editorial/publishing system that interconnects JAMA and its 9 Archives journals. A smartphone/tablet app will become available. - DynaMed serial numbers are valid for 1 year once activated or used to download DynaMed to a mobile device. If access has been denied because of an expired serial number, a new number can be obtained by either contacting the Library or emailing dynamedsupport@epnet.com from your UMDNJ email account; no other email addresses will be accepted.
