Document Delivery Services Available to the General Public

The University Libraries provide document support to the public at large through interlibrary loan networking activities, as well as Loansome Doc support.

UMDNJ Library Holdings

The UMDNJ Catalog provides information for materials held throughout the University Libraries system.

If you are a non-UMDNJ student, please contact your college library regarding interlibrary loan services. If you are a member of the public, please contact your local public library to request materials from our collection.

Loansome Doc

The only UMDNJ Library that provides Loansome Doc service for the public is the Health Sciences Library at Stratford.

Registration
Before you register online for Loansome Doc, you must first establish an agreement with the Health Sciences Library. This will be your "ordering library." Click here for the registration packet. Once completed, the agreement must be returned to the Health Sciences Library. You will receive the authorization code to complete registration and will be able to request articles during a PubMed search.

Loansome Doc is not intended for rush requests. Cost per articles is $15 (if held at the Health Sciences Library) or $30 (if requested from another library.)
