GENERAL INFORMATIONInformation and Education Services, located in Room M930 of the library, is available to help you use the library's specialized collection of books, journals, electronic and print reference sources and specialized indexes. We can help you formulate and execute your own computer searches using databases such as MEDLINE, InfoRetriever, MDConsult or Web of Science. We will help you locate materials, find that elusive piece of missing information or look up a definition for you over the phone. The Information and Education Services staff can also organize demonstrations and classes tailored to your needs to help you use the library resources. See the Smith Library homepage for information about scheduled library classes. We can arrange group orientations and tours of the library. The above services are available to UMDNJ students, faculty and staff. Information and Education Services also offers a Clinical Librarian Program to assist with clinical questions and research during weekly rounds.
